Welcome to our Official Website. We are a Southern Gospel Group servicing Arizona and the Western United States(But not limited too). We have been sharing through Music Ministry for better than 20 years.
We have a passion for spreading the Gospel through music and touching a heart that might not otherwise be touched in any other setting. Music speaks to the soul, engages the heart and brings hope to the hopeless. We aim to get to that place where the Lord can do His greatest work.
Heavenly Stanza, has been performing for churches and different venues for the past 15 years. For the last 5 years we have been reworking our ministry as jobs and geography has not allowed us the opportunity to be as available as we would have liked. Because of this we temporarily stopped performing as we reworked the ministry of Heavenly Stanza. So today, I am happy to share with you that Heavenly Stanza is stronger than ever. The time away afforded us the opportunity for myself the "Charter Member" to engage the purpose and direction of my Music Ministry. And perhaps greater still for my singing children to embrace the passion to serve in this capacity. With the deep, rich, close family harmonies of my two young sons and I. The Lord has blessed our ministry.
- My oldest son (Jeremy 27) covers most of the leads with a voice that can't help but draw you into the message of the song. His smooth full voice has been compared with that of Guy Penrod and Micheal English, But often when singing tenor can get to that high Bb and high C like David Phelps.
- My youngest son (Jason 21) has a tremendous musical ear. He can just about pick up any instrument and play it. He occasionally sings lead but settles beautifully in the Baritone position.
- I sing whatever part my boys are not singing. I do most of the talking, Preaching, Emcee and throw in an occasional joke every now and then.
We are occasionally blessed when my youngest (Jessica 18) is able to tag along with her exceptional voice she really adds depth to our ministry.
I do have a middle son (James 24) that will work our sound for us every now and then. He is a great Bass, we just have to encourage him to get up and grab a Mic!!! : )
We have had the opportunity in 2008 to be of service at Associational Meetings, Special Events, Block Parties, Revivals, and many churches. I serve as Senior Pastor in Arizona, so our Sunday opportunities are not as available, although workable. We have had opportunities to bring the message as well as music at Revivals, renewals and Crusades.
